I’d recommend ’The Hours’ by Michael Cunningham, ‘The Lovely Bones’ by Alice Sebold, ‘The Reader’ by Bernhard Schlink, anything by Dan Brown, ‘Looking for Alaska’ by John Green, ‘Birdsong’ by Sebastian Faulks, ‘The Bell Jar’ by Sylvia Plath, and I recently read the Hunger Games Trilogy which was brilliant.
